About the role
Attributy is building the measurement layer modern marketing runs on. As a Senior Backend Engineer, you'll design and scale the data services that turn billions of marketing touchpoints into one reconciled source of truth. You'll work close to the product, shipping the systems agencies and brands rely on every day.
What you'll do
- Design, build and operate high-throughput services that ingest, transform and serve marketing data at scale.
- Own features end to end — from API design and implementation through deployment, monitoring and iteration.
- Improve pipeline performance, reliability and cost efficiency across our data infrastructure.
- Collaborate with product and frontend teams to ship capabilities that marketers can use immediately.
- Mentor teammates and contribute to engineering standards, tooling and best practices.
What we're looking for
- 5+ years building backend services in production, ideally with large data volumes.
- Strong with a typed backend language (Go, Java, TypeScript or similar) and SQL.
- Experience with distributed pipelines, queues and warehouses such as Kafka, Snowflake or BigQuery.
- A pragmatic approach to trade-offs, testing and observability.
- Clear communication and a bias for shipping.
Nice to have
- Marketing analytics, attribution or ad-tech experience.
- Familiarity with dbt, Airflow or similar orchestration.
- Experience running services on AWS.
